ᴄᴏᴍᴘʟᴇᴛᴇ ✮ ᴀᴢʀɪᴇʟ x ғᴇᴍ!ᴏᴄ ✮ ᴛᴀᴋᴇs ᴘʟᴀᴄᴇ ᴀғᴛᴇʀ ᴀᴄᴏᴡᴀʀ The fall of Hybern should have been the end of it: the bloodshed, the violence, the strife. But all kingdoms come with a failsafe. An Heir rises, and an assassin wakes. She is a walking myth, a legend from nightmares. When the Deathbringer finds her way into the Night Court after centuries of dormancy, the Inner Circle sees her for what she is: not an omen, not a weapon, but a girl. She just might be the key to saving Prythian -- if she can first find a way to save herself. Assassin. Murderer. Monster. It seems like a fair enough trade: her shattered soul to take down the Heir of Hybern. And yet, the Inner Circle has another method in mind. The guilt of her past weighs like a world on her shoulders, though Fallon can't seem to deny it: this Court, these people... they're worth dying for. But they just might be worth living for, too. There's one in particular. One who speaks to shadows, one whose darkness seems to whisper to her own. There's a word hidden in that whisper, one she could never fathom until now -- until him. slowish!burn. plot-centric just as much as it is romance-centric, or at least imo.
