Exactly a week before her sixteenth summer, Maleficent Evans-named after the infamous evil queen from Sleeping Beauty-realizes that she has to get the attention of her long-time crush Damien; and she has to catch his eye now. However, being an ultimate lackluster person holds the record on why Damien never laid his eyes on her, but after finding a strange-looking supposedly "witchcraft" book in the attic, Maleficent knows exactly what she needs: a love potion. Too bad she never dreamed of what the potion's side effects could do.
