Cesario Hale is a kind man. He enjoys making pancakes, and spending time alone at his favorite diner. He loves cats, his best friend is an old woman named Maude. He is also immortal, and he doesn't know why.

Sometimes its best not to question these things.

Death is a kind man. He's skinny and pale, but the rumors that claim he's a skeleton are just plain cruel. He's not used to making mistakes. In fact, he has never made a mistake before.

This is the story of Death's first mistake, and Cesario's inexplicable mortality. This story also happens to involve anime figurines, a zombiefied Aubrey Hepburn, and lots of tears.
