Jadwiga, a rich fifteen year-old girl, has a mother that suffers from the yellow fever of 1793. Jadwiga eventually learns to be more open-minded and grateful after getting the fever from her childhood friend.
NOTE: This is a short story from a school project of mine. I decided to share it with the world through Wattpad, so please excuse any typos or over-dramatic scenes. I am just a student who had to write a short story of the 1793 yellow fever, and I would like some opinions.

He swept my hair from my face to my back and gathered them in his fist. He tugged my head back, deepening the kiss, and my heart thrashed in my chest. At that moment, I didn't need drugs to know what being high felt like because his lips were enough to send me on nine clouds. Just once and I was addicted to it.
