Emma is just a normal girl living in a messed up world. Her dad drinks and works late shifts and her mom sits at home drinking and refusing to care for the youngest member of the family, Emily. When fires start happening around town, the police start investigating further and Emma begins to wonder if maybe she has a part in it. When she starts having nightmares of the fires happening before they happen, she begins to learn that she is the one causing them to get revenge on the people who had made her life miserable. Can Emma stop this from happening or will she die with it?

Emma has known she would be chosen her whole life. But she's different from everyone else. She wants to go outside. Will she live up to the expectations of the world, or will she fail and be imprisoned with the beast forever?
