Dare to Love

Meet Audrey Pearce, the girl whose parents wanted nothing to do with her, she was moved from foster home to foster home, never staying for longer than six months. That was until one day, when she caught the eye of a friendly looking couple. At the age of eleven her prayers had been answered. Finally, a stable home.

However, the years of rejection had taken a toll on the little girl's mind. She'd learnt to control her emotions and not get attached to anyone or anything because at her tender age, she'd discerned from experience that things didn't last forever. She'd perfected the art of self preservation and It took her a while to realize that the Pearce's weren't going anywhere.

12 years later and still unwilling to let anyone in, aside from the few people who'd managed to break through her walls, she meets the most eligible bachelor New York City had to offer, or so it said on some magazine she'd seen her best friend reading, Luke Vandall.

Will she learn to trust him and risk getting her heart broken? Or will she put up her walls and run fast in the other direction?
