Really? He should have asked himself before leaving, lying.
So, the wind asked, "Really, a story?"
He nodded to himself, "yeah, life's just so..."
"Unfair, cruel, painful, unforgivable." It whispered.
He sat thinking, "always."
As he runs away from his problems, his 'unforgivable' life.
He finds a library, finally. Solace.
Books, the one thing he cold understand without second guesses, without having to worry about lies, hurt, betrayal.
He takes out a book, pure white.
He opens it, it's all blank not a dot of ink in sight. He flips to the back.
An encryption, he traces. Dot-to-dot.
Then it flies. The centre of the old library. As he walks towards it, he sees a portal fade into existence.
He walks through,
There. There it was.
A fantasy, a real-life story.
A world Koris hopes is true every minute he lives in it, pleading each day it won't disappear or be taken away from him. He takes on a duty, he lies, he uses magic to make right wrong, justifying his actions.
