James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew arrive at Hogwarts wide-eyed, wand-waving, and absolutely not prepared to behave. Between enchanted staircases, bizarre teachers, and magical creatures that definitely aren't in the handbook, there's plenty to distract them from their schoolwork: not that they were planning to do much of it anyway. Whether it's attempting to charm Filch's cat into shaving itself, staging late-night duels with floating armor, or investigating the completely made-up "Haunted Toilet of the Third Floor," the Marauders are leaving their mark-mostly in the form of smoke damage and pudding-based explosions. And then there's the butter.
