Snape is one of my favourite characters, he has a really complex past and in the end, he managed to save his memory, so we all know who he really is.
These practical jokes are based on when Harry, Ron, Hermione and the rest of their year, were in years 2-5 of Hogwarts, after that, it would be a bit... deadly.
