It's the zombie apocalypse.
Everyone is trying to survive but people usually say 'the past doesn't matter.' But in this story the past does matter. Dan is with a group of people and his past continues to haunt him, his past includes a girl named Effy who he was very close with but then something tragic happens bringing them apart but will the zombie apocalypse bring them closer than they ever were before? Effy used to be an energetic, happy, loud, and outgoing girl. Now she's rude, sarcastic and tries to hide her feelings. She's slowly becoming insane because of the past, because of one little mistake Dan had made.
