I was told to always keep in sight of the house and to never let my guard down.
I was told to always keep a gun at hand.
Growing up I was always told to keep the doors locked no matter what time of day.
One day I asked why.

Winter
For as long as anyone could remember, nymphs have remained safely hidden from their human neighbours. Residing in the depths of the forest, Winter knows to never venture too close towards the edge of the woods. However, she is different from the other nymphs, and they don't accept her. In an attempt to find temporary sanctuary away from her kind, she stumbles across a mysterious, and possibly dangerous, man. She knows it isn't smart to be near, let alone interact with this man, but she just can't seem to stay away... There was a story my grandmother used to tell me about the woods outside my house. She said that there were monsters Lurking deep in the shadows that watched and waited for children to enter so they could gobble them up. I knew that she said it to scare me out of the woods. Only problem is that it didn't work. The deep dark Forrest called to me like no other. It was like that is where I belonged not out on the streets playing kick ball like all the other kids. I was supposed to be running through the trees feeling the wind rush past me. This is the story of how I discovered that the monsters lurking in the Forrest were real.
With a burning feeling
For one to inhabit oddities that are truly beyond normalcy, the town has been surprisingly peaceful for many centuries. However, behind the tranquility that seemed to encase the place, there lie intense rules that are forever ingrained by all townsfolk within their hearts and mind. Though it is not the town itself that was odd; but the territory just next to them. Vast and eerie, full of creatures of the unknown, and home to a being so powerful who was feared by all and remembered even by the youngest of children there was. The forest is not to be disturbed. The rules were simple. No one is to be allowed to enter, even taking a daring mere inch of a step, in the forest. NO. ENTRY. This is what has been placed when people take sightings of the large and wide forest. A warning that implies extreme danger due to the number of signs there are in one area. For there is a creature that lies beyond the forest. So dangerous and so terrifying, it could scorch the world with its flames. It's not a dragon. It's not a beastly monster. Not even a giant or a devil. But a god. A sun god. And the sun god's abode was the forest. And he is there for a reason.Complete

The Beast
Who's hunting who exactly ? Not in anyone's wildest dreams, not even in mine I'd dream of this night to happen to me. Not many people think they will ever go up against a blood thirsty, horrifying non existing beast. Yet I do. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Then there's me, Arya Jennings, a typical shy quiet person, not even close to be somewhat popular. I prefer to be alone, I always has. Until my world turned upside down. People are disappearing, not even a trace to be found. But being alone most of my life, things change. Befriending a group of men with guns, they could easily keep me safe. Right ?? My world is changing faster than a speed of light, encountering things I've only read in books, yet they're real as ever. These so called mysterious beasts, creatures, whatever they are... that hunts by sound, sight, and hearing. Will our band of misfits be able to kill them ? Or the opposite ? Misadventures
I've spent most of my life outside playing with my best friend Trey. Hanging out around lakes, jumping from log to log, and even chasing foxes we found in the woods. But there is something eerie that has suddenly popped up around my backyard. I would investigate but my mom already banned me from playing in the woods... so I still play in the woods.
