The woman caught her expression, though and the corner of her mouth curled upwards in a feline grin. Her slender fingers moved forward and caressed Tess's cheek lightly, then twirled a strand of her dark brown her between her fingers. Tess wanted to move, scatter away, push the woman away but instead she only managed to shake her head, trying to make those fingers untangle themselves out of her hair. As fast as a snake, though, the woman's hand snapped and caught Tess's chin, restricting her from shaking her head again and forcing her to stare in pitch-colored eyes. The dangerous smile persisted.
"I thought I got rid of you." The woman whispered.
Get rid of me? Tess didn't understand why this woman seemed to know her and much more- talk like that wasn't the first time they met.
The woman raised an eyebrow and a sardonic smile showed on her face at Tess's confusion.
"So you don't remember?"

There, Tess tries to live a life free of misty-women- but dreams about an oddly familiar girl haunt her, and rumour has it a witch was trialed there centuries ago. Aside from thousand-years old secrets, Tess has to handle her growing feelings for her History teacher, Eric Thorne.
Meanwhile, her rebellious sister Jamie is getting into trouble, falling for the school's troublemaker and uncovering the mysteries of Greenville.
