Back in the late 1990's a great PC game came out called FREELANCER. It was an open galaxy adventure space game that had a good storyline. I spent untold hours flying through space in this game and I always thought it was ripe for a spinoff side story but I never pursued it. Nearly 30 years later I discovered a website called GOOD OLD GAMES where you could find and download many great games of yore. There I found FREELANCER. So I climbed back into the cockpit of a starfighter after so long and have enjoyed it even more than I did way back when. Once again the possibility of a side story presented itself and this time I have risen to the challenge. I have always been an avid reader of SCI-FI and I will be the first to tell you that I have blatantly used ideas from other sci-fi works in my story. I have also used names of real people and places to flesh out my narrative. And as a warning for those offended by sexual content, I have included some pretty erotic sexual segments in my story, so you may want to close your eyes as you read those parts. If you have ever enjoyed playing the FREELANCER PC game, you may enjoy my story. Let me know. As a side note to the story: In the story there is a space station named Lajes. In the following books I have changed the name from Lajes to Freeport Seven. Sorry if it causes any confusion.

A Zurena FanFic. One-shot, but really, really long. 2nd person/Zulema's POV (Congratulations, you get to be Zulema)! Set in Season 5. Takes place after New Year's but prior to Maca telling Zulema that she quits. I wrote this to make El Oasis make sense in my own head, because while the Zurena interactions were on point, the story-line was total crap. I'd prefer not to give too much away here, but I understand that people like to know what they are getting themselves into, especially given the length of this work. So I will say this... This is written as a sort of stream-of-consciousness piece that takes a dive into Zulema's psyche as she navigates a meaningful day and reflects on herself and her relationship with Maca. It's written from Zulema's perspective, and truthfully second-person usually isn't my favorite, but it just felt right for this story. So for those of you who find that approach awkward, I hope you will still give it a chance. This is the first fic I have ever written, so feedback is truly appreciated. And since I couldn't get the d@mned Dedication option to work, I will add that here as well- This fic is dedicated to my little fried shrimp who inspired me to write it, encouraged me to publish it, helped me with the Spanish bits, acted as the world's greatest sounding board, and without whom it would not have ever happened. Hey you. Yes, you! The Seer is looking for you again. What? Did you think that was the whole story? That was just part one of three. This is part two. At least concerning the Mercenaries. Anyway, this time the Seer has five stories for you this time. The first one is about Alan. He's talking to some cops about how he got his powers. It's a crazy story with a croc-clam and a Lord of Evil who isn't that bad of a dude really. In the second story, you find out what happen with Grania, Kadlin and Squeaks when they go to Greece. There's a sorority squabble, a Lich Queen and other cool, strange and dark stuff in it too, but I don't want to give too much away. In the third story, you find out what happened to Thrack and Rina when they went to China. There's a lot of mages, a big keg, a few sluts for hire and a bloody fairy. It's a fun and sad story, but it's awesome, trust me. Next, you'll find what happens with Alan in Antartica. That story is insane with lots of dragons, and you'll finally get to see why everyone is so afraid of Alan. Finally, you'll read about all those paths converging, all the old friends, and a few new ones, reuniting and you'll be set up for part three. But seriously, the Seer is expecting you again and, if I've learned anything about the multiverse, it's that you don't keep an infinite waiting. So, it's time to return to the Seer, because if the Seer made time for you, you, and what the Seer wants to show you, must be important... This story is unedited, and I wouldn't mind a cover.
