A year has passed since the funeral of her boyfriend Emmett. Evangeline is still holding on to him very dearly. He was there one moment and next, he was gone. Evangeline has been depressed ever since. It is now her first day in college, The Art Institute of Seattle. Emmett encouraged her to follow her dream college, she finally made it and doesn't know if she is overly happy about it. She left her old town behind, her foster parents behind, everything behind, except for a box, and her heart. She meets someone special on the plane ride to Seattle, Washington .
