I wanted to say it's a slow starter but you soon will see Ceryses feisty temper.

The story centers around two teenage girls, one named Lorelei and the other named Cora. They are two girls from two different worlds: Cora, who is rich and lives with her mom, and Lorelei, who is poor and lives with her father. Frankie Sandford grew up as an only child and her father died when she was very young. Her mother went soon afterwards. From a very young age, Frankie's stepfather would sexually abuse her, almost every day, and he would tie her up for days at a time and just leave her there, with no food or water.
