"I have a silver one of the Nikora. Thirty thousand jewels. Of course, I could lower the price if........" I mentally cringed under his disgusting gaze. I never thought I would be in this position again............. Flickers of the past hit me like a ton of bricks.

"Come here, Babydoll....."

"Don't run, you can't hide."

"Wake up Princess."

"You're mine."

"Die."

I gasped as the painful memories that I had tried so hard to get rid of came back.

"I can tell, Jane-san."
"You have magic too, right? Can't you heal her?"
"My magic doesn't let me heal people. I'm sorry Jane."
"Amber-san, please, wake up!"

"No! I refuse to accept that she might not wake!"

"No! Amber-san, wake up! Wake up!"

Amber was not a normal person. For one, she had magic that would allow her to call upon Celestial Spirits that would fight for her. Not only that, but her heritage forces her to travel about, not allowing her to settle down. When she finally finds someone that makes her think she has a future, her secrets catch up to her. Secrets that no one, not even her fluffy companion, knows. All that she knows is that she's made a huge mistake.
