City of Fire

Abigail Shore is a resident of Megilocroft, a city that has been enveloped in a blanket of smoke, and were the fires never die. A magical barrier that won't allow anyone to leave, trapping her, her best friend Thomas, and all of the residents of Megilocroft there. The worst thing is, her sister is the root of it all. Her sister, Cam "The Flame", killed her parents, the King, and took the throne of Megilocroft. And, to punish "The people who never killed that insufferable oaf!" Cast a spell with the souls of the King and her parents to create a firestorm, killing half of the residents of Megilocroft. And to keep the surviving people under control, she made the storm grow bigger... And bigger.... And bigger... Until it blocked out the view of the outside world and encircled the city in a blanket of a firestorm. Somehow, the firestorm, eight months after the disaster, still continues at full force. Abigail, now a member of the resistance, is trying to hold her own. But, will a call to arms get in her way?
