Kari Ladar is from Tatooine. She was a young slave when she heard stories of her fellow slave Anakin Skywalker being freed and leaving to become a Jedi. She waited for him to come back and bring justice back to the sand planet, but when she watched her parents die from famine, she took matters into her own hands. She killed her owner, then left the Outer Rim as a fugitive.
Now a successful bounty hunter, she is given the chance to finally bring revenge on the person who betrayed her people.
