The Bench

I walked down the hall, my black snapback that says EPIC on it surrounded by blue wiring. It sat backward on my dark blonde hair. My dark brown eyes scanned the area.

I passed the 'child security' and saw them looking at me from a distance. The child security are basically people who get dressed in those neon orange and yellow shirts and tell you when to stop, go, ect. They are kind of like high school child police.

My eyes caught the Bench and I smiled, sitting in my regular seat. My best friend, Katie sat in her regular seat and I grinned at her. She grinned back and pulled out a pocket knife. My face grew serious.

"I'm not even going to go that far." I said.

"Not for killing." She said and started carving something in the Bench. She finished quickly and I saw her name engraved in the Bench. She handed me the pocket knife and I engraved my name on the side of the seat. I was handing the pocket knife back when the principal walked out and narrowed her eyes at me.

"Astrid O'Connor principals office now!"
