Quick notice- { This work is going through a major overhaul. The plot will remain the same, but I intend to improve on some of the writing. Also, the contents of this book contain spoilers for the events of Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age: Awaking. Although, playing the games prior is not required to enjoy this. The story fills in all needed information for any reader.} 

Ten years have passed since the events of Dragon Age Awaking. Maria, the Queen of Denerim lives happily with her husband Alistair. However, time proves to be a mortals enemy and now something sinister threatens her way of life. Forced to do the impossible, she leaves to find a cure to a disease which has none. If that wasn't enough her prior friends and enemies stand between her and her quest. As she will soon find; not everyone approved of the choices she made in the past. The truth of it all will fracture her mind and her beliefs will be shattered to their very core.   


Authors Note- This is my first fanfiction. I decided to do this to help develop my skills as a writer. I hope you all enjoy :). If you did do not forget to vote and leave a comment, it really does help motivate me to keep writing. 

Updates will happen every Friday by 11:59AM Eastern Time. Note this may take some time before this is true as I try to edit the previous chapters. However, I will do my best. 

So many might ask why I wrote this. I became furious with Bioware for never continuing the Warden's story or even hardly mentioning them. So here I finally realize Bioware never will. So I have decided to take up the task. I also hope to answer some questions about the series that the games have not explained yet. (Note I'm not mad at Bioware, I still love DA2 and DA:I. I just wish the games took a different path).

Sirena has no memory of her past as she awakens on the nautiloid. She doesn't just feel the tadpole behind her eye, working its way into her brain. She also feels something deeper...darker. Everything else, her experiences, battles, and relationships will slowly reveal her past; whether it is useful or disturbing is another problem. However, her past is known to a select few. She will go on to find out she does indeed have a reason for the twitch she feels when a knife is in her hand. A reason why her body sings along with every strike of a blade against anything that moves. She is the daughter of Bhaal himself, the lord of murder. He sired not only her sweet name but the incessant desire for murder. She was trained in the arts of delightful music aswell as blades. Why? Because Bhaal's chosen must be so despicable that they can use honeyed words to convince their prey to commit their own murder, command a room of people to drop with the most angelic of Melodies. Her power resides in words because it was his desire, but her skills were moulded into something far more deadly. How she became lost with this urge is the main question pounding against her skull, but whoever did this didn't think of one thing. Sirena may have forgotten...but she will never forgive. Will she decide to resist this urge and get her revenge? Especially when it comes to those she will grow to love? Well...let's hope the dice roll in her favour. (This is a series I've created in honour of my durge run that I just had to write about. All inspired by conversations, events or areas through the course of the game. This is meant for mature audiences, due to the amount of violence, language, character backgrounds, etc. There are sexual scenes but don't expect many as I'm VERY new to writing. Veiled Lies and Half-Truths by Zikodah1-4

This story is a Solas x Inquisitor Lavellan fan fiction. It eventually deviates greatly from the actual Dragon Age: Inquisition plot line and focuses more on romance between characters. However, it does contain massive spoilers from all of The Dragon Age games. If you are unfamiliar with the games I provide enough background information and character creation that you will not be lost. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I have enjoyed writing it. I both love and broke for these characters. This book is complete with a little over 250 chapters. However, I have to type and revise it chapter by chapter because most of my writing was done by hand with a bunch of scribbles everywhere. It is a slower build-up to the spice and relationship as I lay out the foundation, but when it starts, it picks up drastically. Athelya mahariel is a closed off for a little while but mostly kind dalish hunter she uses a bow and a dagger kukri to be specific (ikr how original), she is the group's leader/provider and she doesn't get humans sometimes, she is neutral good. Alistair is my own opinion on how he acts, and so are the other companions. My goal with this story is to tell the main story and the dlc's of each game who knows I might even be done by the time veilguard comes out (I won't I suck)
