Quick notice- { This work is going through a major overhaul. The plot will remain the same, but I intend to improve on some of the writing. Also, the contents of this book contain spoilers for the events of Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age: Awaking. Although, playing the games prior is not required to enjoy this. The story fills in all needed information for any reader.}
Ten years have passed since the events of Dragon Age Awaking. Maria, the Queen of Denerim lives happily with her husband Alistair. However, time proves to be a mortals enemy and now something sinister threatens her way of life. Forced to do the impossible, she leaves to find a cure to a disease which has none. If that wasn't enough her prior friends and enemies stand between her and her quest. As she will soon find; not everyone approved of the choices she made in the past. The truth of it all will fracture her mind and her beliefs will be shattered to their very core.
Authors Note- This is my first fanfiction. I decided to do this to help develop my skills as a writer. I hope you all enjoy :). If you did do not forget to vote and leave a comment, it really does help motivate me to keep writing.
Updates will happen every Friday by 11:59AM Eastern Time. Note this may take some time before this is true as I try to edit the previous chapters. However, I will do my best.
So many might ask why I wrote this. I became furious with Bioware for never continuing the Warden's story or even hardly mentioning them. So here I finally realize Bioware never will. So I have decided to take up the task. I also hope to answer some questions about the series that the games have not explained yet. (Note I'm not mad at Bioware, I still love DA2 and DA:I. I just wish the games took a different path).

Dead Ahead: Soldier
This is actually my first time making a story. Every criticism helps. The story later on will start to make less sense as it goes on, but hey! My story, my lore. By the way, there are some...lewdness and "romance" as the story goes on as well, I regret my life. Anyways, hope you enjoy and...yeah! This is actually originally set for me and my cousin, I made him obsessed with stories and he made me obsessed in writing. Karma comes fast. By the way, some parts are references or inspired by games, movies, or other books I've read. I'm not stealing other people's stuff, that's stealing and I do not condone such acts. Anyways, enjoy! (Update: I just received an amazing cover for...this book of mine. I do not deserve such artistic/editing talent such as this. Needless to say, the person who did this has my upmost gratitude. (This story is my first Dragon Age Inquisition story but has undergone revision and a few changes) Talila, a mid-twenties to late twenties year old woman with a kind heart and is a huge fan of the Dragon Age series, though she keeps it under lock and key. She adores the series but when she somehow ends up in Thedas (around the time of the Inquisition) things become complicated when she finds herself falling for one of the members of the Inquisition, after being rescued by them, but unknown to them her time being where she was she experienced Lyrium and the nasty addiction that comes with it was truly in a not so best situation and as a consequence has a hard time letting anyone in, except for one person: Cullen. Cullen knows Talila does not belong to his world, but once it comes to his attention that she struggles with herself and with Lyrium withdrawals, he finds himself all but jumping to her aid; Slowly he develops feelings for her and refuses to give up on her, regardless of what she says or does, but when Talila starts acting odd, combined with bouts of unexplained rage, it swiftly comes to his attention that her family lineage has more secrets then even Talila is aware of.Kumpleto
