Love is like a balloon; eventually, it pops. •• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • What if I hadn't went to the coffee shop that day? Would I have met him? All I know is that if I hadn't met him, then I probably would've been on a plane by now, thousands of miles away, awaiting my next adventure. But, I did meet him and in those meetings, I learned to cherish this place rather than hate it. And for that, Terrence Owens, I thank you. You made my life interesting. You made life something that should be worth living. I really do thank you, from the bottom of my heart. For all the 'what ifs' in my life, you gave me answers, but you left and all I could think about was this one question. What if you hadn't left? My life would've been complete with you in it, but without you, there's this numb void in my heart that feels incomplete. Eventually, I learned to move on, but you had to make things worse by coming back. With you, you brought back all those unanswered questions I learned to put in my past.

|"Sometimes the heart knows things the mind could never explain." -Ranjeet| We are teenagers. We have gone through hell and back. Listen to the stories we have to tell. Spoiler alert: we get broken in the end. But our stories come from our heart. Listen to our heartbeat. Elizabeth and Andrew were good friends up until high school. They drifted away, and rarely spoke to each other. During the last few months of high school, Elizabeth and her four friends get caught in drama. This includes crushes, breakups, makeups, bullies, and much more. Elizabeth has to keep them together and ignore her longing crush on a plain and heartbroken guy. But maybe something could distract her from all that. Maybe that distraction's name is Blake. Warning: READ AT YOUR OWN RISK! This story contains many plot holes, cliche moments, and just things that don't make any sense. (And editing would be a nightmare. I can't do it myself. I've officially given up on this story.) #569 in Teen Fiction on April 9, 2016 |Added to @weareteenqueens "High School Highlights" reading list!| |Entered in the #W.SAwards for 2016 "Most Favorited Book!"| #Wattys2016 #WriteForYou #MyYouth #weareteenqueens
