We all know that story of the Destroyer and Creator, but for the sake of this story, let's say the Destroyer didn't like destroying Alternative Universes. Let's say they didn't like killing the innocent nor the murderous. Let's say he didn't like who they were nor what they did. From the weakest to the strongest, from the most kindhearted pacifists to the mightiest warriors, from the queen to the superstar. Beginning to end. But in the end, the only one left who could stop the Human was the one who had nothing left to fight for. Sans' victory was an empty one. His brother was dead. TORIEL was dead. Undyne was dead. The Underground had lost it's spark when Mettaton fell, and she had lost hers when Undyne did. In the end, it was the two weakest monsters in the Underground who were left for each other.
