Carter's brother is accused of something he didn't commit, and she is determined to get to the bottom of it. With the help of her best friend Basil, better known as Baz, she investigates, coming to a million dead ends, but then she receives aid from a group in her small town, Corinith, more commonly known as the Misfits, who are known for causing chaos in her town. Carter's only goal is to free her brother, but she ends up helping this group of Misfits become free of their reputation, and save the town overall.
