Aine (pronounced ah-n-yuh) had unparalleled beauty and charm, but even more modesty. Little did she know this would cause jealous wives to drag her down to her own personal hell.
When she woke up the curly haired woman wasn't human, and was cursed to live with that fact for eternity. She knew the exact time everyone around her will die, and she mourns for them all. She had become a banshee. This is enough to drive anyone crazy, and it did just that. Aine created an alter ego in her subconscious named Grainne (pronounced Grah-n-yay). Grainne is a lianhan sidhe and is everything they made Aine out to be before murdering her in cold blood. She's a flirt, a drunk, a femme fatale that feeds off a man's very vitality.
Throughout her seemingly endless eternity, she debates many things. Should she get revenge? Should she let Grainne take over? Can she even have a love life with the luring kelpie when her inner demon can hold the reins?
While experiencing all of this, she may uncover a secret far bigger than herself.
