16 year-old Sara Silvermin, abandoned by her parents, moved to North Fargo, North Dakota to start a new life. On her own she survived with her fighting skills, stealth, agility, and new-found stone heart. The only thing her parents left behind for her was the knowledge of supernaturals and her life as a vampire. Attending North High School should be easy but the minute she walks in, her presence radiates intimidation upon all the students except Chris Bekham. The 17 year-old king of the populars is drawn to Sara in an un-canny way.
