"I hovered over a huge expanse of water, not knowing where I was. Cool waves whipped against my feet, making me oddly calm and sleepy.
wait.......I was hovering over water- HOVERING OVER it!"

"My name is Alex, and I'm 17- and that's about it. The last seventeen years of my life are a haze, a jumble of colours that I'm unable to make sense of. I know I'm from Earth, and I also know that the planet I'm currently on is definitely not Earth!"

Alex opens her eyes to a boy around her age, with blue skin, and red hair. He takes her to the city under water, and introduces her to the ruling family. She's treated like a freak show, wherever she goes, because of her fair skin tone. She knows something is amiss- because, after all, a planet of blue skinned, under water life forms cannot give birth to three creatures, with fair skin, adapted to the land.......or can it?
