Dragon Bait

When former friends and neighbors come to put her Mother on trial for being a witch, seventeen year old Kira must flee. And not flee just anywhere, but to The Forest, from which tales of magic, peril, and certain creatures spring. Kira has to evade capture by the mob, fight for her life against the many dangers that reside within the forest, and figure out a way to save her Mother before she's condemned to death.
