The sovereigns of a small kingdom want a son, but when he comes to life they discover he's an elephant. His parents decide to call him Laruto.
Everybody loves him because of his kindness. Thanks to his kind personality people don't care about his aspect.
But one day, Laruto looks into a lake and he sees his reflection: he suddenly realises how he looks like and he starts feeling sad.
He runs away from the castle and starts travelling all around the world.
On day, the king's daughter, decides to invite Laruto to her castle. The princess's name is Azzurra. They became friends and a year after they decide to get married. The new couple decides to leave the guests, and when the princess kisses Laruto he turns into charming prince.
