When Skylar agrees to spend the summer with her estranged father so that her mom can fulfill her life long dream of seeing Paris, she had no idea what she was signing up for. When she first lands in California, she expects a summer full of awkward times trying to avoid her father. What she doesn't expect is her dad's new girlfriend, who is intent on being best friends with Sky, a summer job at her dad's diner and Luke, the insanely attractive surfer who she seems to continuously bump into.
