The mysterious town of Blackthorne is condemned to its demise: a government threat to turn the land into a nuclear testing site. With only forty-eight hours to evacuate its many citizens, panic induces.
At the last minute, with over one-hundred passengers aboard, Flight 087 takes off, and is soon caught in a shockwave from the nuclear explosion. Its engines failing, the plane crashes down over the middle of the ocean, landing on a large, deserted island far away from all civilization.
Only twenty passengers survive the crash of Flight 087, and they begin to rebuild their lives on this strange, new island away from home.
