I think my week had been basically all yadayadayada and until on Thursday night, when I heard voices while walking past room 113. No one had checked into the room this summer or any summer, but as far as I knew, it was very far from being haunted. As quietly as possible, I managed to pry a few inches of the door open. I felt my eyes widen, in shock, sort of, because Jason and Grace were sitting in a circle of lit white candles and at the center of the circle was a man wearing clothes that may have been totally in style, maybe during the French Renaissance.
And his feet weren't touching the floor.
Jason and Grace were chanting in some strange language, but half way through, the man turned towards me, and so did Grace and Jason.
Busted.
That's when I saw the fake oriental blue and while china vase.

Instead my attention was focused on who I saw seated in the restaurant. His eyes were on the screen in the corner of the room. I knew that because my gaze used to be directed in that direction while I mopped the floors at night. Without warning, he began to laugh. I couldn't hear anything, it was a soundless laughter. Not because I was in a trance, but because the windows and doors blocked in all the sounds... depriving me of the sound I wanted to hear most. Something about his expression made me smile. He looked... if only there were a word to describe how he looked. One word that could paint this perfect image of him in detail capturing even the motion of the moment. But before I could come up with that word, that perfect moment was broken. I inhaled sharply as his eyes landed on me. His face went blank removing all the evidence that he had been expressing amusement. Like a mirror, my smile faded. His empty countenance lasted only for a few more seconds, and then there was a twitch. A twitch of recognition? A twitch of memory? "What the fuck did we bump into?" Damien yells. The entire room rattles. Window frame movement puts too much stress on the glasses. The lights going on and off as if some weirdo is busy toying with them, the light fixture's wires become exposed, and vases crash on the ground from top cupboards followed by books and magazines. Her eyes showed nothing but pure white as she tossed and turned vigorously on the small hospital bed, blinking multiple times. "DO NOT TOUCH HIM!" She yells. This fuels the shaking edifice more. "Do something!" I scream at the doctor who is standing there flummoxed just as we are. Out of nowhere, a bright light engulfs her. "What the actual fuck?" goes the doctor dropping the clipboard in his hands. The ECG machine goes into a wild paced beeping. "DON'T! "She shouts once more sitting up, blasting us away. My back connects with a hard object behind me. The sound of shattering glasses, exploding machines and light bulbs follow .A sharp high pitch sound ringing inside my ears caused by the blast. . I feel myself getting weak as my back aches from being hit. By the time am conscious enough the sound of buzzing sockets as a result of short out wires that produce bright sparks in the now dark room are all I see and hear for a moment, lights flickering simultaneously. Later, I hear someone giving orders from outside our room accompanied by indistinct voices from agitated people being guided out of the building. My eyes scan the room searching for Damien. I heave a sigh of relief to see him laying on the ground his head leaning lazily on the door. A figure moves adjacent from me. The doctor takes closer yet cautious steps towards the girl still seated on the bed her eyes shut. "What in the world of the X-Men are you?"

The light from the ceiling in the distance back and forth, the light so bright, pointed directly at me, causing me to squint. I could barely see, my vision was blurry. My head was pounding, it was like my mind had it's own heartbeat. I tried to move but I couldn't my body felt so weak. I could feel the cold pavement against my frail body. I heard the sound of high pitch metal door creaking, I groan and slowly moved my hands to my ears to block the sound. I slow to turned to my left where I heard the noise. There I saw a black shadow figured... I couldn't stare to long my eyes hurt from the light I turned my head. I heard chuckle from a cross the room. "W-why am I here?" I softy stuttered "You were at the wrong place at the wrong time." A deep voice answers I heard a deep laugh. I heard the vibration of every footstep tooken, the sounds got closer. I felt my eyes tearing up, as fear took over my body. "Please, just let me go," I beg as a tear ran down my face. "Sorry sweetheart. There's No Way Out." He says Then I felt a small kiss on my check and whisper in my ear, "You're mine. You're stuck with me forever." I felt sharp pain in my arm causing me to groan in pain. And with the sound of his footsteps echoing around in the room. I heard the high pitch sound of mental door creaking and the door slam shut.
