Tris has been living her life with everyone who has passed on for two years. Every day she is by Tobias' side, but he doesn't know, until one day, her funeral. What if one fatal accident opened up the future and released the truth. After the accident, Tris wakes in Peters arms confused and paranoid. She soon realizes she just woke up from a simulation that only lasted three days. Everything starts to happen again, but for real. He stays strong for the people on the outside, while on the inside he is broken and lost without Tris. But, he just has to keep telling himself that life goes on, and that his life will get better, even though some days will be hard to cope through. But that's what friends are for, right? But what happens when he looses friends, or when some want to become more than friends? Will it drive him insane, or will he just accept the fact that Tris is gone and she would want him to go on with life. But Tris never left him. She is with him everyday, he just doesn't know it. So how will she communicate with him? Or will she just stay in the shadows, watching over Tobias, watching him fall in love all over again? What if they found a way to be together again? Tris has caught herself in a situation when she sleeps with two guys around the same time and turns out pregnant. In the beginning she doesn't know who the father is. Is it Tobias or Al? She's not dating either one of them, she just had sex with them and that's all it was. She later finds herself falling in love with the two boys and the two boys falling in love with her. Eventually she finds out the father of the baby but she has to decide if she wants to stay with the father of her baby or the other guy.
