The Apocalypse.

No one ever thought it would come like this, so sudden, so... Deadly.

April 18th, 2064.

3 days since Annabelle Armstrong witnessed the first wave of mutants tear apart her town, since she had to run, with only a 8mm pistol, 5 rounds, and a whole lot of fear.

------

Snap. My body whipped around, the cold metal weapon in my hands raised towards the sound.

"Wh-Who's there?" My voice raised, yet the shaky fear evident in it.

Snap. Again I turned. Snap. Snap. The bastard, it was circling me, messing with my head.

I saw movement from the corner of my eye and aimed toward it, unmoving. It was only when the snarl came from behind me did I know I was done for.

I turned, but turned too late, the grotesque mutant had already leapt, it's yellow rotted teeth bared at me as its oily black hair was whipped behind it by the wind. It's claws dug into my shoulders as it took me down, snarling and snapping it's decaying jaws in my face.

My body shook with fear, and an ice cold terror gripped me. 'This is it.' I thought, as the mutants ugly head swung up, ready to strike back down and eat it's way through my jugular.

Bang.

A ragtag gang of teens teams up with a neighboring girl gang when a major cartel moves into town, threatening their families, their turf, and the community they've worked so hard to protect. ***** Cash West formed the Seven 20s - a gang of six overzealous teens with guns - to keep his tiny, crime-infested town in nowhere California safe. His methods are unorthodox and frankly illegal, but the town loves his Robin Hood heroics. However, the gang gets more than they bargained for when the Mendoza cartel rolls into town, determined to knock them off the map. As the threat hits closer to home, Cash has no choice but to team up with his ex-girlfriend Tiana's neighboring girl gang, the Hearts of Spades. Soon allies become enemies, families get trapped in the crossfire, and romance brews as Cash fights to unravel a massive conspiracy that puts everyone that matters to him at risk. When the stakes are life and death, will the gangs be able to overcome an enemy more powerful than any of them could have predicted?
