Gerard Way has a rare condition "alexithymia", in which he has trouble expressing feelings and emotions towards others. One night, a drunken Frank Iero stumbles into Gerard's work place after a bad night with his girlfriend. Gerard is hesitant, but decides he has no other choice but to help this poor guy. Surely, he can't just leave him there?
