Alex's life is like a stream that flows peacefully in one direction, it's monotonous and bland - she works at a gas station late at night in the middle of nowhere in Oregon, every day, with only a radio to fill the silence of the convenience store.
It's late at night, 2AM to be exact, but that doesn't stop generic hipster Iris Miles from making a pit stop on her way back to her assigned college dormitory, and by sheer luck, she meets a remarkably cute, sleepy punk on the way.
