After going on a solo hunt to find a Djinn, Castiel finds himself stuck in his "Dream" reality. There, he leads a happy life with the one his heart desires... Dean. After being woken by Sam, Castiel takes drastic measures to make parts his dream morph into reality.
All the while Dean is trying to keep a firm grasp on his angel. After Castiel makes a serious change in his life, Dean vows to stick by his side every step of the way; but it's always been that way, hasn't it? The eldest Winchester brother, always fighting alongside his angel; til Death do them part.
Sam has seen many things throughout his life but none of which compare to being able to watch his big brother slowly fall in love with his best friend. The years haven't been kind to the two, but he just wants his brother to be happy. So when Castiel comes to him for help, Sam is quick to step to his side and vouch for him.
Will it all be worth it in the end? Of course.
