The Overshared And Underappreciated Mind Of A Hopeless Romantic by thrillsgum

Writing has always been a secret indulgence. It's something I keep to myself most days and it will continue to be something I share with very few people. Bound in these flimsy plastic rings is a brief rundown of me. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Nothing in here is terribly out of the ordinary for a teen girl who grew up before she was supposed to. A girl whose life was never hers to live. A lot of the time, I never know what's going on. I find it helpful to write down what I don't understand to try and make sense of the world around me. Writing these pieces has helped me find peace in my life. This class has proven more cathartic than I thought. That being said, there are some topics that can be sensitive here. I've starred the titles that could be triggering for some in the table of contents. If you are bothered by mentions of: abuse, self harm, or talks about mental health and illnesses, I suggest avoiding the starred titles. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy the ooey-gooey and heartfelt pieces I have pumped out of my system

TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️ MENTIONS OF Rape, family abuse and suicidal thoughts. Do not read if this may trigger you. The story isn't all depressing but there are certain family situations brought up. It's a good read, enjoy. "It's ok, Blaine. I promise." I whispered into her ear. Her strong arms wrapped me so tightly. I felt so warm and safe... it's weird how calm everything felt in this moment. I hear her sniffle. "I... don't wanna go back." She whispered. I rubbed her back. "You don't have to if you don't want to I promise. You can stay as long as you want." I whispered back. ------ Blaine Jarome was known for the attitude and anger issues. She was considered a problem child in her school, aggressive at work and in and out the hospital for injuries she never explained how she got. She only had two friends who always worried about her and she lived with two drug addicted foster parents that bought drugs from her. She's nineteen trying to finish her second last year of high school. No one dared to even intervene when she was mad... but the new girl? Well let's just say a big heart goes a long way. Sara gives Blaine an opportunity to do better and try harder. She tries to help her see her potential and see that she is great. The only thing is, will Blaine except the opportunity she's been given.

Harsh and raspy; His voice bombed with power as he clenched his fists in rage. The young girl stumbled over her bare feet, her heart about to explode out of her chest. Her breathe was ragged, eyes shut for a split second before being born again and filling her body with a big scoop of that cold morning air. She starred hard at the morning sun as it started to peak its way over the horizon. All of her built up emotions start to find their way to her watery eyes and pour down her cheeks. Smiling as she cried the last thing that girl noticed was the wonderful white snow falling on that not so beautiful Christmas morning. He is a drunk, he cant let go of the pass or control his anger. She just wants to protect her child and live a happy life. She just wanted to help but now she needs someone to help. He just wants to be loved. Why does life never go his way? He is a horrible, rich powerful man and always gets what he wants. He has nothing yet he still tries to help all for what? #Wattys2016
