Savages

Margaret "Maggie" has had the last straw with her abusive and domestically violent husband. When the night is at its darkest, she executes a plan of escape with her trusted friend, and maid, Beth. Taking passage upon a ship, an unknown storm ambushes the small vessel and they are tossed onto unknown soil.

Margaret finds she is the only to survive with a wounded ankle. Moving about the unclaimed land, she finds she is not alone...as a man who acts more like a primate appears to help her...he seems to desire only to protect her...a savage and a lady of Victorian England....
