In life, Charlie was a college student with too much on their plate. In death, well... we'll see. Stuck in another world with an army of Grim Reapers after them, and armed with a magic doorway and just a bit of luck, Charlie has to do everything they can to escape the afterlife.
This story is the rough draft of the script for a webcomic I'm (hopefully) gong to launch this summer! It is far from being readable and is a bit clunky in some parts, but that's what happens when you try to write the whole thing in a month :P

In a world filled with superhumans, the powerless Charlie Cycle struggles to keep his life together. It only gets worse when on his way home hes shot and killed. But instead of dying, his life is saved by the sentient living slime who holds a few.... secrets. Charlie and Slimecicle struggle to find a way to work together, all the while finding themselves pulled into the middle of a battle between Villlians and Heros... and finding out just how deep this conflict actually goes. The two of them fight heros, fight villians, fight the societal biases about whos strong and who isnt, fight their own weaknesses together, and even fight the one who gave humanity their powers in the first place. Beyond Our Control
In a dystopian world where society has long since evolved to perfection, those born are given an examination test to see if they pass the biological and innate requirements for living in the perfect society. Those who fail are luckily given a second chance to prove themselves, where they are allowed to be raised in dorms that are ostracized from the rest of society. They have eighteen years as they live with six other girls, separated into dorms and ages and gender. Kenna is sixteen, two more years from becoming eighteen where she will be retested to see if she can go back to living into the perfect society and find her place once again. Although her best friend, Lina, has mysteriously betrayed her for unknown reasons, where she is sent away to the Adjustment Center, a place that seems doomed for failure where everyone who has broken the rules are casted out to... It's a huge mess. It also contains suicidal actions, alcohol abuse, bipolar disorder, guns, death, drugs, emotional abuse, and just lots of triggers so if you're sensitive to things like this, please find a better fic to read that is suitable for you and or read at your own risk. The girls heard that Weston got a new headmaster, so both masters decided to meet, and after they did, their old memories caught up to them and won't leave them alone. And while he's trying to get her to love him again, a boy and his demon butler are dressed like females infiltrating the girls school-by order of the Queen-to make sure there's nothing strange going on.
