It was a average day for me, it was the third day in April, cherry blossom sprigs were popping out from the buds of the tips tree branches. As I was dazing off at the bright pink petals of the blossoms I held up my camera about to snap the perfect photo the the flowers in bloom, and green leaves growing out from the branches.
And then all of a sudden something bumped into me. I fell over my heart pounding faster and faster, my eyes were closed tight, refusing to open. "It's okay, you didn't fall." A soft voice spoke. I opened my eyes cautiously, to see a man with Crimson red hair, and silver rimmed glasses. His hair was short, but stylish, I can tell.
We gazed into each other's eyes for a moment. "I'm so sorry to bump into you miss." He told me softly. He let me go as I staggered onto my pale legs. "It's okay, no worries." I replied cooly as I bowed.
"T-Thank you for catching me." I stuttered. He bowed back respectfully. "Again, I am so sorry. Thank you for you forgiveness." He mumbled as he started away in his direction, his scarf whipping in the wind. I wanted to tell him to stop, in hopes of making a new friend, or maybe something even more....

I felt his hand as it gently pushed the strands of hair that were blocking his view of my face, behind my shoulder. The action caused his fingers to involuntarily graze my jawline and neck making me stiffen. The short contact left my body feeling warm and my breathing to suddenly turn irregular. "I think you look beautiful." He said in that deep, soft voice that made me feel funny. I could still feel his fingers in my hair as they now seemed to instinctively move around the strands. Obviously, it was not what she waited for me to say at that moment and whatever connection had began was just as quickly DISconnected , because she gave me, what I'm assuming was supposed to be a death glare, but really she just managed to look cute with her little nose scrunched up. Don't worry," he pleaded rocking us back and forth slightly. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry I ruined this moment," was all I could say as silent tears made their way down my cheeks and onto his shirt. "Shhh, it's alright. I don't know how it will all work out, but we will be together, forever. I promise," he assured me, pressing a kiss to my temple. I sniffled and wiped my eyes as I looked up at Evan. He was watching me with concerned, loving eyes and for some unknown reason that look only made me start crying again. I got more and more annoyed as he drove up, parked and unmounted his bike. He pulled off his helmet and shook his head, noticing me there staring at him. We just stared at each other, neither moving, neither speaking. He started to make his way up his driveway, not even bothering with a greeting, so I called out to him. "Hey! Where've you been?" I tried not to sound accusatory or angry, and I succeeded. Though I sounded more hurt than anticipated. He stopped and walked towards me. He walked kind of slowly, like he was trying to avoid me. I stood on the steps, fighting the urge to walk towards him so we could talk. Never ever did I think I'd want to talk to him, yet here I was. Once in front of me he stayed at the bottom step, not climbing up further. He said nothing and I repeated my question once again, "Where have you been?" He shifted then just replied with "Out." "Out?" I repeated, getting refueled with annoyance. "That's it? You've been missing all day and all you have to say is you were out?" "Fuck, dude, what are you, my mom? I was out! Are you trying to keep tabs on me or something?" I was angry at him, and started to feel feelings towards him that I haven't felt in months. I stepped down two steps to look at him eye level, ready to argue with him. But, rather than open my mouth to fight, I found myself staring at his tired gaze and freezing for a moment. I didn't want to fight with him, and I saw he didn't want to fight with me-at least, that was my hope. I let my glare fall and closed the distance between us, wrapping my arms around him in the tightest hug I could muster. He seemed shocked, remaining rigid in my arms until I quietly muttered, "I was worried about you, jackass," into his neck. He just sighed before relaxing and hugging me back.
