Her first job to prove her status is to check up on the Crystal Gems and make sure nothing shifty is happening, if something is going on, she has strict orders from Blue Diamond to obliterate them. But once she meets Steven, naturally he slowly changes her mind. Should she stay with homeworld or rebel? I wrote this book like 2 years ago so the information is really outdated compared to where the show is currently, so please don't correct me on inconsistencies. I'm caught up with the show. I know. The crystal gems won the war, and all that is left of the gems from homeworld are Jasper, Lapis, and Peridot. Steven is the son of pink diamond, a watered down way to preserve her life form from being shattered. No one knows they are there. All of the personalities are the same, just different circumstances and Steven's gem is diamond like. What will the Crystal Gems do if they find him? None of these characters are mine. The truth is out. Rose Quartz, the leader of the Crystal Gem rebellion, was Pink Diamond all along. It shocked all of the Gems, but Steven was the most affected. His anger now only grows, seeing that his mother, who he once looked up too, was nothing more than a coward, a murderer, and a liar. What pushes him over the edge is when Pearl and the other Crystal Gems still want him to be like her. Pearl doesn't realize, though, that she will set off a chain of events that nobody could've predicted, starting with her 'baby' going back to when it all began.
