Taylor Aquilina and her two (and only) friends, Joe McAlister (who she has loved since preschool) and Ben Drake, live in Chesters Mill. An ordinary town, just like any other. Until one day, when a mysterious, invisible barrier, being called a "dome" by the military right outside, traps them, and everyone else, inside Chesters Mill. Many wierd things being to happen. Joe's sister, Angie, goes missing. Joe and Norrie begin having seizures, saying something about pink stars. A cop has gone crazy, killing one of his patrol partners. Will they survive?
