My name is Mattheus. Pretentious name so just shorten it to Matt. It doesn't matter though, because most people refer to me as that kid, him, or that creepy graveyard child, usually with great disdain. I'm kind of an outcast in my hometown. They say I don't belong here. It's no big deal. I don't really mind. I'll be okay as long as I have Doc and my best friend.
Things have been quiet for a long while now but the suspicious death surrounding our high school's queen bee had fingers pointing in my direction. In an effort to not go down in history the same way my parents did, I ended up uncovering secrets about my family, my friends, and my hometown.
It seems that there is another world out there hidden behind a veil. Now that I can see things happening on the other side, between mysterious bites and spell casts, I hope to find out what really happened ten years ago with my parents. Maybe then I'll find a place where I belong.
Everything around me is changing in ways I could've only dreamed of.
Cold winds have been blowing from Lawton's mountain sides and with it I really think something wicked this way came.

Well, just when I thought my life couldn't get any crazier, guess what? It got crazier. Last time we met, I was trying to save myself and this guy from this malicious spirit who wouldn't leave him alone and was trying to kill him. I thought that was bad and stress inducing. There's a part of me excited, though the larger part is scared to death.
