Unknown Destiny

There are those for whom a tenth circle in hell awaits their entrance. And my path, however misguided it was, was leading me straight to that circle; where the daemons have playtime with the souls of the malicious. Every path a person choices is exactly that a choice. And my choices lead me to a place so dark and foul that not even Dante himself had a name for it.

Quicker than anyone realized, mankind descended into a war that ravaged them unlike anything before. All those needs scientific advances only changed things for the worse. The fallout of all the toxic chemicals used in worldwide weaponry did one of five things to you, the kindest of which was death. Beasts came out from the forests more animal than anything else, their thirst for blood only matched by the cold blooded reptiles that emerged from the once pristine bodies of water. They constantly fought to stay at the top of the food chain. But the real threats lay with the daemons in humanistic bodies, their bodies and minds altered by radiation to the point that no one really knew what they could or couldn’t do. Then there was beings like me, changelings or fey by the old world names; each purebred born with a specialty. Contract workers bred and trained. That was my first turn in path of darkness.
