Everyone loved Emily. Em, could brighten a dark room anytime any day. Emily's smile could fix a broken heart in seconds. Like a fairy, she was who you needed her to be when you needed someone. She aimed to please and heal the broken. Everything was just better when Emily was around.
She had it all. A well off family. A cute and devoted boyfriend. Plenty of friends that loved her. Beyond excellent grades.
When she died, it affected all of us. Everyone separated. Landon, her boyfriend, was in pieces. Her two best friends were smoking their pain away. I myself was isolated by all of them. After the entire car accident was my fault. She was speeding to meet me after I had called her. Emily had a habit of worrying way too much.
I'd called her crying because I didn't know who I was anymore. My life was upside down and no one had seen it flip except Em. She was all I had left. Now she was gone and it was my entire fault.
