Heart of the Phoenix [UNDER NEW TITLE]

What if Xehanort wasn't the only one in Ventus's past? What if he had a guardian? This is the story of a young girl named Kenza, training to be a Keyblade Master under the legendary Yen Sid. But when King Mickey, a fellow pupil, runs away, she is sent out to track him down and bring him back. While searching for him, Kenza runs across Ventus, a boy whom she hasn't seen in a long time. She decides to keep an eye on him as she searches for Mickey. She has no way of knowing, however, that someone from her past is about to make a startling reappearance. Can Kenza find Mickey and watch over Ven? Or will she be used as a pawn in some larger game? Mostly in canon to Birth By Sleep with a few plot changes.
