Rye and Mel, amateur UFOlogists, are obsessed with the study of UFO phenomena. Rye's obsession is sparked by a secret he's told no one, not even Mel: as a child, he was abducted by aliens, the Grays, who levitated him from his bed into a sterile room where they performed experiments on him -- a Close Encounter of the Fourth Kind.
