Instead of dying, Katniss woke up stronger but with a thirst. For blood. That night she made her first kill but it certainly wasn't her last.

Peeta Mellark was born in 1846 into a family with one father and one older brother as their mother decided she didn't want to be apart of their family and abandoned them.

In 1864 a brunette with grey eyes turns up to his family home, looking for a place to stay.

This is the beginning of their love story, but how will it end?
