A woman named Harrietta lived once happy, in her large house, with a loving husband. Her children (all five) were born, and once the youngest, Seraphina, reached the age of 10, and the eldest 14, the father of the children left.
Ashamed to even leave the house, Harrietta bought thousands of thousands of food cans and clothing of different sizes, and closed her front door forever. And in this house the children spent their first old years, living strictly under the words, "If God wants you to leave, he will make sure it will happen."
Under this law, they were never allowed to leave. And Seraphina, unlike her sisters, believed her mother, and berated her sisters because they wanted freedom. But the four other sisters, strong willed and independent, lived on hope and determination that they would be freed from that house.
