Reina is a girl living in modern-times America. However she feels she can't connect to anyone in her generation. One day she finds a dusty book with a golden spine in her late parents' (professors of time) house. She opens it to page 1, and she is swept away to 1800's-France where she meets Nathan Armvîce, who immediately charms her off her feet. She then comes back, and turns the page. But nothing happens. She reads a story of a young woman who slowly falls in love with two people, and then she gets to the last page, page 292, where she is again swept away to 2600 Russia, where revolution is brewing. There, she meets Henrïk Gorgövich, a shy colonel who has a giant crush on her. And soon she discovers her parents' notes and finds that every visit she makes to another realm, the fabric of time gets closer and closer to tearing. She must decide between the loving yet shy Henrïk and the egotistical yet brave Nathan, before the fabric of time tears. But little does she know, both Henrïk and Nathan have secrets of their own... And when she finally does discover who her true love really was all along, she is trapped in another realm...

Well in a fight with his best friend Tyler. Tyler's Girlfriend dies, Tyler blames that on Nathan. Tyler wants to take away Nathan's everything, that being Rose. So In a bad head space Nathan asks the pilot to bring the plane down. However Tyler had paid the pilot before Nathan got there. When Rose asks if her best friend Lola can come with on the plane Nathan doesn't know what to do. He says okay, he knows they both will die. He gives it away in a few chapters of his own in part one of the book. Well Rose survives the plane crash. And it broken from it, one day a year later Nathan find Rose. And tell her everything, she is horrified, she hates him. Her love for him goes away. As the book goes on she finds forgiveness. At the end they do end up together.Complete
